The food was excellent! And the portion sizes were pretty good! Nobody likes to wish they had more space for the things they like as they watch it go to waste. The staff were polite, kind, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. The pricing is good too! I can't wait to go back!
Great pub food. Massive filled potatoes and home made steak pie with creamy mash all freshly cooked. Very good value with offers mid week. Go early as they run out of some dishes! Lovely ambience friendly helpful staff. We will be back!
The food is excellent. A large car park is at the rear of the building. Staff are lovely and friendly
Late booking made for a dog friendly pub in Bury area for a roast. Great decision to head to The Pykkerell, nice position on high street of Ixworth with lots of on street parking. Great food. We had a starter of garlic mushrooms and curried carrot soup and then 2 beef and pork roasts. Portion sizes really good with Cauliflower cheese included. Highly recommend and will happily return
We have been going here for a while now for coffee and toast and the odd lunch. Great 2 for 1 on a Tuesday and Thursday. We take our B/C Millie too and we are all made very welcome especially Millie. Would definitely recommend.
We had a lovely family meal on Easter Sunday. They accommodated large group. Food was delicious and service was great. Very friendly. Would recommend.
Had a lovely, tasty lunch, friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable surroundings, large car park. Will definitely return, hopefully often!
Went here as a result of a review in a newspaper regarding best places to go for a Sunday roast. Found this to be true to the hype, food was delicious, well portioned and lovely old style pub atmosphere. The only thing we would say (and is purely a personal preference) is for crispier roast potatoes. We will be going again.
